Dr. Kapadia was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. He attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA where he was named one of the Outstanding College Students of America and was on the National Dean’s list. He then attended medical school at the University of California, San Francisco which is consistently ranked among the top 5 medical schools in the country.

Dr. Kapadia completed his urology training at the University of Southern California under renowned cancer surgeon Donald Skinner. He consistently earned high in-service examination scores and had the nation’s top score in 1997.
