Education and Training

Dr. Heron received his undergraduate degree with highest honors from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, and his medical degree from The Ohio State University, graduating in 1989. He then completed a six-year surgery and urology residency program at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Certifications, Memberships, Accomplishments

Dr. Heron has expertise in performing research studies, and was one of the original investigators for UroLift, a non-invasive treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

He is certified by the American Board of Urology and has been published in numerous books and urology journals.
