Education and Training
Dr. Raj completed medical school in southern India followed by surgical training at Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. He completed his urology residency at the University of Miami, FL, and is a robotics trained surgeon.
In addition, Dr. Raj dedicated two years to doing clinical research in Urology at the University of Miami.
Dr. Raj is known for his humility and patient-friendly approach. He believes and practices that excellent outcomes are achieved through effective communication with the patient so they clearly understand their condition and treatment options. He is a strong believer of the saying “I dressed your wounds, God healed them”.

Dr. Raj received a prestigious Gold Medal for academic excellence during his years in surgical training.
He has published numerous journal articles on topics related to the treatment of prostate cancer, renal cell carcinoma and bladder cancer as well as kidney stones. His work has been presented at several national and international conferences.
