Dr. Sherman is a Board-Certified Urologist originally from Coral Springs, Florida and currently assigned at Advanced Urology Institute in Largo, FL. He received his undergraduate degree in Health Science from the University of Florida in 2006 and his medical school degree from Florida State University College of Medicine in 2010. After one year of training in general surgery, he completed a four year residency in Urology at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Dr. Sherman then joined our practice in 2015. He is currently the chief of the urology department at Morton Plant hospital.
Dr. Sherman has a strong interest in treating voiding dysfunction, including the following treatments:
- Sacroneuromodulation treatments for overactive or underactive bladder
- Bladder botox injection for overactive bladder
- Minimally invasive prostate procedures in the office such as Urolift
He also specializes in advanced treatments for prostate cancer.
