Dr. Ramos was on call when I was admitted to Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City Florida for Acute Retention of Urine, Sepsis, and Urinary Tract infection. January 24th. 2025 Dr. Ramos listened to me and recommended the TURP surgery on my prostate. Today I am flowing like a young man with a strong stream. I was very impressed with his professionalism. I was comfortable talking with him about my problems. I liked the way he recognized my dislike with his direction to stop drinking my favorite drink, without making me feel like I had no choice. Dr.Ramos was very kind and attentive to my mother. She was his only patient for surgery and he was still there 3-4 times a day. He has the best bedside manner, extremely knowledgeable, and a pleasant soul. He was a blessing from God to my mother and our whole family. Dr. Ramos is such a caring Dr. along with his staff, Dr Ramos saved my life he removed my left kidney it had a tumor the size of a baseball. He keep saying my cancer was aggressive and I needed to see the cancer Dr. I did but that didn’t work out so Dr. Ramos put me in touch with Dr. Webber. If he hadn’t done that I would have died. Dr Ramos and his staff , well it's hard to put them in a category. They are kind and understanding of what you are going through at the moment and they won't stop until they know what is happening. I had a problem that was not urological but Dr Ramos had a ct scan ordered to find out the problem anyway. Turns out it was diverticulitis and referred me to a doctor who could help but prescribed the meds to control my problem. After several visits and tests, Dr. Ramos had to give me some bad news. He was kind and straightforward with his information and presented many options for me to pick from for prostate cancer. The prostate biopsy was uncomfortable but Dr. Ramos talked me through it and allayed my fears and discomfort. I am hard of hearing and he was not disturbed when I asked him to repeat words that were not familiar and he would explain any questions. I think I am lucky to have found such a good doctor.Read more
