This office has been so great every step of my procedure. 6 years ago, they found the source of my back pain, a staghorn kidney stone. And every step of the way, they are great at explaining things, helping me understand what I needed to do... and needed to stop eating. It’s gone the same way every time. My mother gets all the help she needs from the staff and depending on her situation he provides a care plan for her situation and he has helped her immensely control her UTI problems which were very seriously damaging her life prior to coming to Dr.RAVAL. Recently I received a procedure identified as a T.U.R.P. This involved catheters, a surgical procedure & several trips to Dr. Raval’s Office. Because this was something I have never experienced before, I was apprehensive to say the least, especially involving this area of the body. I'm a 75 year old man who came to Doctor Raval with a very enlarged prostate. We talked about different remedies but I really wanted Aquablation. I had been in ER for urine retention because I could no longer urinate. 3 weeks after hospital I had surgery by Doctor Raval. It is like a miracle! I can go like a 20 year old and no complications at all. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Dr. Raval is amazing. Confident and very approachable. I started seeing Dr. Raval because I was experiencing reduced urine flow. Dr. Raval suggested a procedure called Aquablation to open the urethra. I went through the procedure with Dr. Raval and I am more than happy with the result. I can urinate like 20 year old again and the extra trips to the bathroom during the night have been eliminated. I highly recommend Dr. Raval and Aquablation to elimate the effects of an enlarged prostate. I went to the hospital in the morning and returned home the following day. I can't even begin to explain how amazing Dr Raval and his staff are. The compassion, patience, understanding, personal empathy, the bedside manor...so extremely courteous and helpful. Thank you for being such a wonderful doctor. Nicole and Shannon were also such an amazing help. They made me feel like I mattered, like they understood the pain I was going through. Wanted to say thank you to Dr Raval. When my last urologist dismissed my issues as Insterstitial Cystitis and sent me on my way with no hope, Dr Raval listened and was able to find the root cause of my issues which were not interstitial cystitis. After finally getting the medicine that I needed, after 15 years of painful and I mean very painful UTIs on a monthly basis, I’ve been UTI free since September. I cannot speak highly enough of this doctor. Prior to visiting his office, I had been to the emergency room, my general care doctor, and another urologist who all told me everything was normal and I should just deal with the pain. I finally scheduled an appointment with Dr. Raval, and within 5 minutes of examination, he diagnosed my issue, and scheduled a surgery, which he then performed exquisitely. Never once had I felt talked down to or ignored; Dr. Raval truly cares about the wellbeing of his patients, and has no ego. I had a sudden and very unexpected diagnosis of kidney cancer in February of 2020. I communicated with several urologists during the initial stages of my treatment and Dr. Raval was by far the most considerate and thoughtful physician I interacted with during that time. Saw Dr Raval for a second opinion after a really horrible experience with another urologist. I'm so glad I did. He's professional, thorough, straight forward, caring and friendly. Really wish I would have read more reviews and gone to him originally. His staff is extremely nice, professional and caring as well. Highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of a urologist. Raval was such a great surgeon, he did a great job with me even despite complications on my end. Also I owe him a huge thanks as he was willing to do the vasectomy procedure I had such a hard time finding someone because of my age. After checking numerous reviews for urologist I found Dr Reval. From check in to check out was first class and the bedside manner of the nurse and doctor was outstanding and made sure to put my fears at rest. I didn’t know there were doctors who cared in the state of Florida. So happy I found him and the nurse(carli) was so nice to my son and it was just a overall good experience. Are you looking for a doctor who truly cares about your health needs? If so, Dr. Raval is the is the right choice for you! Where do I begin, my mother was diagnosed with 4 Stage Uterine Cancer in December 2017. By absolute luck, we met Dr. Raval at North Pinella's Hospital. My mother had a major obstruction blocking her kidneys, and she had to get nephrostomy bags, and tubes inserted into her kidneys to help drain her urine. As she went under chemo treatment to shrink the tumor, the hope was to eventually internalize her drainage and insert internal stints. My mother and I consulted with Dr. Raval often to track her progress with the tumor. When we met with Dr. Raval we constantly talked about a game plan for my mother. Dr. Raval was so genuine and caring to my 77 year old mom. He absolutely made sure that we understand all the scenarios/options my mother had with her stints, and or possible removal of all tubes. He is extremely analytical, logical, perceptive, passionate, caring, personable, super friendly, and always smiling. Dr. Raval is open to discussing with you your needs and thoughts, and does not dismiss any idea you might have for treatment. Lastly, I was very impressed with Dr. Raval's genuine concern for my mother, and his ability to actively follow her progress. Every time we would visit him, he would say to my mother " I was just thinking about you, and wondering how you are doing". How many doctors tell you that they are thinking about your health, and your case when you are not in there presence?? Seriously, he is the real deal. My mom loves him! I like him so much, and respect his skills, that he is now my husband's urologist too. Thanks Dr. Raval, keep shining.Read more
