My name is Billy P. Vanasupa, I am a board certified urologist at Advanced Urology Institute in St. Augustine, Florida. Well when I was looking, I looked at several different practices and contacted them almost about the same time. And when I talked to Dr. Epstein, Dr. Grable, who is the president, they were very welcoming.
This practice was very welcoming as far as when we came down to interview. I told them I only had a small window to do the interview and they said we’ll make it work. In fact, the day I did my interview, the company had their employee appreciation day. And afterwards, Dr. Epstein and some of the other colleagues came up and we did the interview and I told them we had kids and I said, well, they want my wife with us but can’t quite leave the kids alone so they actually arranged for a babysitter to sit my kids.
Besides the five month old, who was very particular, we couldn’t leave her alone with anybody. And so we had a great dinner and everyone was very cordial, teamwork. That’s what I was looking for. I don’t want to be in a practice where it’s, well, that’s your patient you take care of or that’s his patient you take care of. It’s our patient, we take care of our patients. And as a group, as a whole, not just as an individual.
