Safety precautions in AUI practices
Your safety is our No. 1 priority in our AUI practices.
Care team members have their temperature taken and are screened before their shift begins.
- At AUI practices, we ask you to wait in your vehicle until your appointment time and only one companion if accompanying a minor, person with a disability, or serving as a translator for someone who cannot speak English. All other visitors will be asked to wait outside the facility.
- You must wear a face mask that covers your mouth and nose in all areas of the office, unless you have a medical reason for not being able to do so.
- We screen patients and visitors for symptoms of COVID-19 when you come into our office.
- Waiting rooms are used sparingly due to social distancing needs caused by COVID-19. We promote social distancing by spacing out seating in waiting areas. If someone brings you to your appointment (one person per patient), he or she can come inside if accompanying a minor, person with a disability, or serving as a translator for someone who cannot speak English. All other visitors will be asked to wait outside the facility.
- You will see our team cleaning and disinfecting all areas to ensure they are ready for you.

I have been with Dr. Truesdale for 4 years. He was a part of the team that saved me in ER when I coded 3 times. I owe so much to him for helping save my life. I followed him when he moved to Advanced Urology, about an hour and half drive. He is warmly compassionate, as well as knowledgeable of his specialty. He has a great manner and is punctual with appointments, meaning he does not overbook appointments. I appreciate his honesty and his tenacity to try new interventions. He is truly a special doctor with great skills and talent.
I had a hysterectomy done at NCH and my GYN perforated my bladder. Dr. Rivera was the person in charge to fix up the problem. He took the time to explain the procedure to me while I was going through excruciating pain and made sure I had the proper follow up. 6 months after I have no problems and can go back to my regular routine. He cares about patients and worries about their outcomes. Will recommend him for sure.
Dr. Szell changed my life for the better! She corrected my problem with a robotic operation in 2019. I am so happy and blessed to have finally met a competent doctor that could successfully help correct my serious problem. Thank you Dr. Szell!
I have been seeing Dr.Jay since 2017 for bladder incontinence and over active bladder. Never have I been so comfortable with a physician as with Dr. Jay not only after trying many solutions he did a implant and the results astounding. The fact that the procedure worked the care and compassion he show s is overwhelming. I would recommend Dr. Jay 100%.
All the staff at Advanced Urology are wonderful & very helpful. My husband was in a very serious car accident & had to be catheterize. After finally getting his medical records from the hospital, Alexis and Anna were 100% supportive in getting us an appointment within two days. Meeting Dr. Karavadia was a great experience. He is very understanding, kind and talks in layman terms so you understand what he is trying to tell you. I can't say enough about the Oxford Office and I would highly, highly recommend them. Whether you are a female or male, this is the place to go.
Dr. Murphy presents as a very calm, take charge, empathetic physician in circumstances that are not generally normal. His demeanor and swift action clearly helped calm the patient as well as family.....and he took just enough time to quell fears/concerns, while being available to ALL the many other patients in emergency. Great .
Dr. Mark Dersch is a wonderful urologist and an excellent surgeon. He was able to remove several kidney stones, including one rather large one, while I was under anesthesia. The surgery only left a small scar on the right side of my back. He sent me home with enough medication to get me through the healing process with very little pain. I trust Dr. Dersch completely and I know he has my best interest at heart. He is a very kind and understanding doctor. I highly recommend him.

Today was my first visit to Dr. Taub and how glad I am that I followed the recommendation of a friend who is also his patient. The staff was terrific and was a prelude to a fantastic experience with Dr. Taub. He was engaging, comedic and professional for the entirety of my visit. His caring manner far and above exceeded my expectations. I am pleased to be his patient.
